Old api offline.. Student trouble

First of all, what data are you trying to access? The new back-end only allows access to data from devices you own.
If you have your own device(s) and have registered them with the back-end you need to authenticate with MQTT to access the data. The username is the Application EUI, the password is the access key for that application. Check the information on the workshop page for details.
