The RN2483 is not designed for direct node-to-node communication. If you just want to use LoRa modulation to get a long range without using a LoRaWAN gateway you might want to have a look at these for simple point-to-(multi)point or star network connections. Or just use HopeRF RFM95W like here. With the last one you can also build a proper LoRaWAN node using the IBM LMIC stack. See also the wiki.
