LoRa module interfacing with beaglebone

Hi all,
I am facing problem with RN2483 which is a LoRa module when connected with beaglebone. As what I searched, using this module with arduino or raspberry pi requires few libraries but couldnt find any such libraries related to beaglebone black rev C. Simple commands like "sys get ver" are showing "command not found " error on my console. can anyone help me with this module. Thank you.
