Also, there is some caching now (60s for /gateways and /nodes, 10s for others) to prevent overloading with those heavy queries on the prototype setup 
There's still no data limit nor query optimisations.
We're moving to a new hosting provider soon, so the API will have some downtime during the upcoming week or so.
