I looked around for info about Multitech settings on TTN wiki but didn't find anything. Clicking through to Multitechs site, I found:

'public' should be enabled. Means the join response time increases from 1 to 5 seconds and the syncword is changed from private (0x12) to public (0x34).
I see some mention of syncword = 52 in some TTN configuration and 52 = 0x34 so looks like this setting is good.

Rx2 window is defaulted to 12. (no mention of freq in USA modes)
