I think your single channel gateway is listening on 868.1 while your node running from 867.1-867.9.

Hi! I have a MultiConnect® ConduitTM Access Point with 4G SIM card. The pppd connection is up and running. To verify : ping www.google.com, voilà!. It works!
Now the problem is that : lora-packet-forwarder is still not started on boot. I need to restart it manually every time I reboot the gateway. 
Your help will be much appreciated and beer will be provide while traveling in Berlin.

My node uses channel 0 which is set to freq. 868.1 and SF7 by default. All the other channels are set to 'off'.

I can compile after using this LMIC Library (https://github.com/things-nyc/arduino-lmic). This library is different from the one I previously installed.

You might try to test by changing single gateway freq first because It is easier than node.
My JSON on gateway looks like

@egourlao was facing similar issues, but might be able to guide you in the right direction. (He's currently on holiday)
Which packet forwarder are you using?
@kersing many thanks for quick response. I am not quite sure, I am using the default that comes with the gateway. Seems semtech pkt_fwd.. btw the conduit is the AP model. @http://www.multitech.com/documents/publications/user-guides/s000652.pdf
For issues with the stock software it is better to check on the MultiTech forums (@ multitech.net) as there are more people there using the official software. We are mostly using TTN specific forwarders.
Checked your log and nothing jumps out. If you have a chance check with an SDR dongle if the module is actually transmitting.
Thanks for checking Jac. I don't have a SDR dongle though, is one available aan the TTN Groningen meeting? If so, It might offer me a possibility to check the TTU board. I will order some parts to build a node myself, wondering if that one will be able to connect....
