You have ADR turned on. To turn it off, change the last argument of initABP to false: LoRaBee.initABP(loraSerial, devAddr, appSKey, nwkSKey, false)

Exactly, it is afraid it is not reaching any gateway.

TTN does not support ADR at the moment, so the RN2483 will not get ADR acknowledgements and as a result it it switches to a slower speed to "try to regain connectivity". (LoraWAN Spec 4.3.1.1)
