I think that if you want to do some planning of iot nodes in the field it would be interesting if that area is covered by any gateway. I was using the gps coordinates of the gateway to see where there are gateways in the neighbourhood and to see if we have a good signal. We did some war driving in the past so we could draw up a picture i showed before where we calculate the distance of the node towards the gateway and the snr ratio which belongs to that packet. I will have a look if i can use the info you all provided. for the record, i understand the need for security, only disagree that the gateway information is not public available.
