The new back-end has two parts. Connecting the gateway to router.eu... in stead of croft. But also getting the data from MQTT at staging in stead of MQTT at croft. The API is based on croft and as such part of the demo environment that will be shut down over the coming months.
As Thomas and I did not have any issues with MQTT at staging I suspect you are still using the old back end to get your data.
