Thanks for the quick reply. I can't ascertain the answer/non answer in that thread - I would have thought that sending chars and \r\n at end should result in the RN2483 sending info back to the terminal in response to commands sent.
I can see local echo in gtkterm and see what I'm sending - but never see anything back, except when I pull reset pin low
to reiterate - with java app / python script, information is printed in console.
the difference is the issue
