Software defined radio project for lora

2 problems with SDR and LoRa:

1. Given SDR power consumption characteristics it's not suitable using it for anything else than experimentation.
2. The modulation technique is patented, so I doubt that anyone will go the effort (except Semtech maybe) to implement LoRa in SDR.
