The Tehran/Iran Things Network

One important thing about working on IoT networks such as LoRa (which work in unlicensed bands) is considering the differences between these bands in different countries. Specially in Iran, as a country which is on the border of regions 1 and 3, this could be always confusing.
1- You should notice that however Iran officially is in region-3 of ITU segmentation, but because all other Middle-East countries are in region 1 (and also serious partnerships with European countries from the GSM area,) in many cases the compatibility with region-1 has been considered in frequency allocations.
2- Based on what has been mentioned in part-1, now in Iran there are both 470-585 MHz and 862-876 MHz bands available for SRD (Short Range Devices).
3- Using a band as SRD (instead of ISM) is a little different and for large area coverage it seems you should notify CRA (Communications Regulatory Authority). But it's mostly on the network developer to consider this and if you're going to just use network, it doesn't need any thing to do and just consider that we're focused on the 868 band for the Tehran network now.
