TTN Manifesto and Open Data

Fully agree with you. An open data collection would be nice, but should be voluntary. I think there already are such initiatives. For example I do share my solar power production data on pvoutput.org.
By the way there will also be many plain users free-loading on TTN. The more the better I think because I do expect at some point they will recognize it as a benefit for themselves to share a gateway of their own, to improve data quality.
