TTN Manifesto and Open Data

Hi nmap,
so if I understand correctly you are directly deploying LoRaWAN gateways which will contribute to TTN (so others can use your deployed gateways) and you'll be running a commercial application over it, for which providing any of the data it gathers in any form is a non-starter?
In essence you are directly contributing to TTN by deploying infrastructure as well as potentially using other TTN infrastructure. In this case you would be directly making a contribution to TTN, not just capitalising on it.
The case I was querying is where a commercial application makes zero contribution to TTN, that's the bit that I am having trouble explaining to people who might otherwise directly sponsor providing a gateway...
