Hi Toon (and others),
nice to see more people near Hasselt are interested. I've already been in contact with Steven and would definitely be interest in a follow-up meeting with more people involved.
My current set-up consists of:
- 1x DIY Lora Gateway based on https://github.com/mirakonta/lora_gateway/wiki (thanks a lot @nestorayuso ) using a Raspberry-Pi and a Multitech mCard-LoRa card, connected to Loriot.io
- 1x DIY "single-channel" gateway, using a Raspberry-Pi and a SX1272, as per https://github.com/tftelkamp/single_chan_pkt_fwd , and all the parts for eventually building 2 additional gateways. Connected to TTN.
- 1x node: Raspberry-Pi, GPS, and a RN2483, always on.
- Parts for building several additional nodes/experimenting (eg. 4xRN2483, 1xLoRaBee with the Microchip RN2483 , 1xLoRaBee with Embit module, 2x Anarduino MiniWirelessLR-95-868Mh).
What's missing for now: Time

FYI: according to Google Maps, the distance between my place and Corda Campus is < 2km, so my gateways should be able to pick-up signals sent @Corda. I'll try take my GPS Node over there to double-check later this week or next week.
